Happy Hangeul Day! (한글날)

This year is especially meaningful as we mark the Centennial of Hangeul Day (1926–2026)! It honors a century of protecting our language and celebrating the timeless value and brilliance of 한글 Hangeul.
First created in 1443 by 세종대왕 King Sejong the Great, 한글 Hangeul was designed with a beautiful purpose: to make reading and writing accessible to everyone.
Its scientific letters even reflect the shape of the mouth and tongue when speaking, making it one of the most logical and elegant writing systems in the world.
Whether you are just beginning your Korean journey or practicing every day, let’s celebrate 100 years of pride and the beauty of this unique language together!
